MISSOULA - Community Medical Center and Big Dipper Ice Cream staff are helping women pay for breast health expenses.

CMC and Big Dipper are teaming up for the next two month to help uninsured and under-insured women.

Big Dipper came out with a special raspberry and white chocolate chip ice cream flavor.

And starting this coming Tuesday, the proceeds from this flavor will go to the CMC foundation to help patients with medical expenses for breast cancer.

"My mom's had breast cancer twice. So when we were asked to do something for this, I felt like this was a really good thing to do," says Charlie Beaton, Big Dipper Ice Cream Owner.

Michelle: "it's unfortunate that everybody can't see how great it is to be able to say, 'I have this money. I can help you buy your wig." I just wish the people that help us in this fund could see that like I do," says Michelle Weaver-Knowles, Community Medical Center's Breast Health Navigator.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Community Medical Center wants to remind women to do breast self exams and to make sure and get annual mammograms.
