MISSOULA - The second day of jury selection in the rape trial of suspended University of Montana quarterback Jordan Johnson is underway in Missoula.
Many perspective jurors were filing into the Judge Karen Townsend's courtroom as of 8:45 a.m. Monday as prosecution and defense attorneys continue to ask perspective jurors questions about what they know about the high-profile case.
There were about 160 jurors present on Friday, which was conducted at the Holiday Inn in downtown Missoula because there was not enough room at the Missoula County Courthouse.
Once the pool was whittled down, perspective jurors headed to the courthouse on Monday morning for more questions. When a jury is seated, opening statements will be made in the trial, which is expected to last 11 days.
