KALISPELL- The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce has unanimously approved a resolution that supports the expansion of coal development in Montana and exporting coal out of Montana.

Kalispell Chamber President Joe Unterreiner says communities in every corner of Montana benefit from coal development, adding tax revenue from coal is distributed statewide to local governments for infrastructure and local school districts for funding.

He also says that there's no doubt it has a positive impact on the Flathead.
