KALISPELL - Police have interviewed one of the three suspects they believe were involved with the purse theft from the VFW on New Years Eve.

Kalispell Police Detective Chad Zimmerman said one of the suspects has been interviewed, but the other two are avoiding officers.

Zimmerman said if the other two suspects do not make contact with him, he will pursue a warrant for their arrest in order to be able to finish the investigation before possibly filing charges.

The trio faces possible felony theft charges after allegedly swiping a purse belonging to a VFW patron on New Years Eve.

It would be a felony offense because the contents of the purse, including a coded car key, cellphone and camera, are valued at more than $1,500.
