KALISPELL - After a tremendous outpouring of support, a Kalispell World War II veteran appears to have a ride to Billings to catch the Big Sky Honor Flight.
In the past two days, after several stories aired on our MTN Stations, there have been numerous phone calls and emails offering support to get Roy Dimond to Billings on time. Commissioner Bill Kennedy who told us the support was so great across the state, they are making every effort to get Dimond on a direct Angel Flight.
Dimond who has issues with a bad back and arthritis, was not able to drive himself to Billings and has no family in the Kalispell area.
Kennedy assured us this morning that Dimond will get to Billings on time to catch the Honor Flight.
