KALISPELL- The Kalispell Planning Board briefly discussed the possibility of major department store Kohl's setting up shop in Kalispell.
Kalispell City Planner Tom Jentz says any discussions are really in the early phases. They have spoken with the architect of the proposed project, but Jentz said there will likely be no construction within the next year.
The area suggested for the large department store is near the Holiday Inn Express and Lowes in Kalispell. Kohl's was founded in 1962 and has over 1,000 stores in 49 states.
