Kraft makes senior night basketball game unforgettable in Laurel

LAUREL - Some things are bigger than wins and losses, and what happened in Laurel on Saturday night exemplifies that spirit.

The Laurel Locos student-manager Seth Kraft made his first-ever appearance on the court for Laurel, starting on senior night against Senior High School.

Kraft, who is a dwarf, has been with the team for years, and anyone around the program will say he knows more about Montana high school basketball than most.

It was a raucous atmosphere in the Locos gym as word had spread throughout the week that Kraft would start his final game with the team.

He received the loudest ovation from the standing-room-only crowd during the team introductions.

But it couldn't compare to the ovation he got midway through the first quarter, when he made a drive down the lane and scored.
