MISSOULA- Missoula p detectives say they've exhausted all leads looking for a man who allegedly robbed a student on the University of Montana campus last month.
Police say in the early hours of Sept. 12, the suspect walked up to a 20-year-old UM student by the tennis courts and demanded that she give him her wallet. She thought it was a joke and because she didn't hand it over right away, the suspect punched her in the face and stomach, took her wallet and left on foot. The victim used a campus emergency phone to call for help.
Investigators say even though the case is now closed, they still want people to call Crimestoppers at (406) 721.4444 or Detective Guy Baker at (406) 552.6284 if they have any information on this crime.
