MALTA- The shooting death of Malta teenager Logan Wilson in 2010 was accidental, but two teens are facing felony charges of obstruction of justice in connection with the incident.
In a press release issued on Friday morning, the Phillips County Sheriff's Office said that Wilson and the other two teens - whose names have not been released - were hunting together on October 23, 2010, when the shooting occurred.
After an initial investigation, the Phillips County Sheriff's Office requested assistance from the Division of Criminal Investigation of the MT Department of Justice.
The press release states that the investigation determined that the shooting was accidental.
The two teens who were with Wilson at the time of his death will be charged with felony obstruction of justice based on what the Sheriff's office says were "initial misleading and dishonest statements" to investigators.
