MISSOULA - William Dominguez, 33, is facing a felony drug charge after prosecutors say he gave meth to a 16-year-old girl in exchange for sex.
Prosecutors say that on March 3rd a confidential source told Missoula Drug Task Force investigators that Dominguez was in town with a large amount of methamphetamine for use and sale.
Investigators caught up with Dominguez and he admitted to using the drug, but refused to say who gave it to him. Detectives didn't find any meth on him.
The next day officers responded to a residence on Stephens Avenue after the mother of a 16-year-old girl suspected that some illegal drug activity was going on in her home. The teen told investigators Dominguez gave her meth in exchange for sex.
Dominguez admitted in an interview in jail to using meth only once that week, but denied providing the drug to anyone else.
Investigators noticed that Dominguez had several tattoos indicating gang affiliation and his criminal history shows a previous methamphetamine possession/distribution conviction.
Dominguez is currently being held in jail on $100,000 bail.
