A man was flown to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula on Sunday after a rafting accident along the Clark Fork River in the Alberton Gorge area.

Frenchtown Rural Fire Department Chief Joe Calnan says the call came in around 3:30 p.m. and says while he's not sure exactly what happened, paramedics tried to resuscitate the man for nearly 30 minutes before he was flown to Missoula.

The man's condition is unknown at this time. We'll have more information as it becomes available.
