Man killed in crash near Huntley

BILLINGS - A male driver died after his truck crashed and caught fire near Huntley on Monday afternoon.

Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Highway 312 and South Eighth Road at around 12:30 p.m. when a truck traveling eastbound reportedly hit an embankment and become airborne, landed and then caught on fire.

Witnesses pulled the man from the vehicle and CPR was administered, but he died at the scene, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.

The man's identity and age have not yet been released and the MHP is still investigating the crash.
