MISSOULA - The Missoula County Sheriff Office has identified the Missoula man killed on Interstate 90 Monday evening as 36-year-old Marcus Merritt.

The Montana Highway Patrol reports that Merritt was driving west on the I-90 near mile marker 100 when witnesses saw him fishtail before losing control, crossing the median and then rolling across the eastbound lanes.

The Subaru DL he drove eventually went airborne over the guardrail and then came to a rest against a sign. No other vehicles were involved in the crash and officials say that alcohol was a factor in the accident.
