GREAT FALLS - Tyler William Toole, 24, appeared in court on Thursday and pleaded not guilty to raping a 13-year-old girl.

Toole reportedly admitted to having sex with the teen, but claimed that it was consensual; due to her age, however, the teen is not legally capable of giving consent.

Toole, 24, allegedly texted the girl in late May and the two agreed to sneak out to meet. Court documents say he picked the girl up at the corner of Central Avenue and 13th Street, and then drove to the 1500 block of 5th Avenue Northwest and parked in the alley.

He allegedly began kissing the girl and she asked him to stop. According to court documents, Toole then raped her.

The victim allegedly contracted chlamydia from her encounter with Toole.

Bond for Toole was set at $10,000 during his initial court appearance last month.

The judge set his trial date for December 3.
