MISSOULA- A mother has suffered two major losses. First, her son passed away and then when she shipped his remains from Ohio to Montana, they never showed up.

Darlene Miller said her son was an avid hunter and fisherman and always wanted to go to Montana. After he unexpectedly passed away from a heart attack at the age of 62, his family decided Montana should be his final resting place.

The funeral home recommended Darlene send his ashes by the U.S. Postal Service but after several weeks they never arrived and now the USPS says they are searching for the remains.

Darlene and her family just hope they arrive in Montana in time for a memorial which is planned from May 16th, which is her son's birthday.
