FAIRMONT- A barn was destroyed after manure caught on fire, was put out, and then reignited.

The fire started Monday night inside of the barn on property near Fairmont. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze and thought it was under control but was reignited by wind.

Seven or eight trucks from four fire departments responded, including crews from Boulevard, Butte-Silver Bow and Opportunity.

The fire destroyed a small barn with thousands of dollars worth of tools inside. A mobile home next to the barn was not impacted.

No one was injured in the blaze and officials report that the property's owner was out of the state.
