The Missoula Maulers Corey Schafer has been tapped as one of the America West Hocky League's players of the week for his scoring exploits.
He shares the home for week 17 with the Gillette Wild's Taylor Motsinger who scored three goals and had four assists last weekend.
Schafer checked in with three goals, including a game winner, and three assists during last weekend's games.
Teammate Will Stawinski has been tapped by the AWHL as the defensive player of the week, collecting five assists on the weekend.
The first place Maulers visit the Billings Bulls on Friday and Saturday night as they aim to hold onto the top spot in AWHL.
