MISSOULA - Missoula County Public Schools and Women's Opportunity Resource development are teaming up once again for their annual Toiletry Drive.
Paper bags donated by Rosauers are set up in all elementary, middle and high schools - as well as at WORD, where donations can be made.
Items like shampoo, lotion, toothpaste, toothbrushes, diapers, and women's feminine hygiene products are needed.
Each school's Family Resource Center works with teacher's to identify those families who are most in need of these products.
"Things that folks in need may have to compromise on purchasing that they must have because they are paying for rent, or heat, or food because they have to make cuts somewhere," said MCPS Director of Technology and Communications Hatton Littman.
She added Littman donating full-sized products are much more helpful than travel-size items. The Toiletry Drive runs through the holidays.
