MISSOULA - The Missoula Community Theatre's new production, "The Marvelous Wonderettes" will take you back in time.
The show is a jukebox 1950s and 1960s revue, with a story that involves a quartet of skillful young singers chosen to provide entertainment for the "Springfield High School Class of 1958 senior prom," while the second act takes place 10 years later at the Wonderettes' high school reunion.
Actress Noel Rukstad says the classic hits and girl group harmonies have been exciting for audiences.
"We're pretty funny. The audiences seem to be really enjoying it and laughing a lot so it's just a really fun show to come see. It's family friendly. Yeah, we've had a lot of really positive feedback. People seem to not wanna leave. We've had people come back three times already, which is just awesome," she noted.
Showings will continue Jan. 23 through Jan. 27, and tickets can be purchased at the MCT box office or online.
