MISSOULA- Meals on Wheels began its "March for Meals" campaign Saturday.
Volunteers were offering up information on the program at the Southgate Mall during the morning and almost all the mall restaurants are donating a percentage of their day's proceeds to Meals on Wheels.
Meals on Wheels development officer Keri McWilliams said the program helps feed hundreds of homebound seniors in the community and served more than 82,000 meals in Missoula County last year. She said events like this help ensure the program can continue serving.
"It's incredible and it's great. We live in an incredibly generous community, both by the volunteers who donate their time and individuals and businesses who financially support the program," she said.
