EVARO - The Montana Highway Patrol is looking for the public's help as they continue to piece together the events that led up to Sunday afternoon's fatal crash on Evaro Hill.
Authorities have released a picture of a pickup truck that was involved in the fatal wreck that took the life of Joscelyn Lea Cook, 21, of Plains.
MHP troopers want to know if anyone saw the 21-year-old Arlee man's driving behavior before the crash.
MHP investigators say the man driving the Tundra crossed the center line, side-swiped a second truck, continued going the wrong way, hit a guard rail, and then struck a smaller Ford Ranger pickup truck head-on, killing Cook, who was a passenger in the vehicle.
Trooper say Cook was killed even though she was wearing her seat belt. Three other people were taken to Saint Patrick Hospital in Missoula to be treated for the injuries they suffered in the accident.
MHP Trooper Phillip Smart says the preliminary investigation doesn't suggest alcohol or speed were involved in the crash, but the wreck is still under investigation.
Anyone with information about the driver of the Tundra is asked to call the Montana Highway Patrol at (406) 329.1500.
