MISSOULA - The many recent improvements to the Arthur and Sixth Street area include bright green bike lanes to mark the lanes.
Missoula Bicycle Pedestrian Program Manager Ben Weiss says he hopes the green paint will increase bike-ability in Missoula.
Weiss says most feedback has been positive and bikers feel more comfortable traveling in the newly colored lanes.
Weiss says he hopes to fit Third Street and Catlin into the paint budget next year.
The League of American Bicyclists named Missoula a Bike-Friendly City in 2003, and since then the city has continued to encourage programs like Missoula in Motion and Bike Walk Bus week.
