MISSOULA- Missoula used to have a classic car show and now a few local car clubs are trying to get that back.

And Saturday's car show and auction at the Missoula County Fairgrounds helped spread the word in the community, said Montana Auto Tech President, Alan Alt.

"Rock and Roll Days used to be in Missoula about 10-12 years ago. They used to have over 600 cars at the show. We want to get that going again and Montana Auto Tech is involved with it," Alt said.

And Alt added this was the perfect opportunity to increase awareness about what Montana Auto Tech does to help the community.

The non-profit teaches high school students how to work on cars and they rebuild one each year.

A car was donated to Montana Auto Tech to be auctioned and 100% of the proceeds will go toward tools and equipment for the students.

More than 100 cars were showcased at the car show and auction and next year the organizers hope to get and even bigger turn out for Rock and Roll Days.
