MISSOULA- Smoke is continuing to settle into the Missoula area as wildfires burn in Montana, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. The Missoula City-County Health Department reports that air quality in the areas around Lolo and Florence may be Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups.

Meanwhile, health officials say air quality in the Condon area may deteriorate rapidly Tuesday because of the The Condon Mountain fire, which has grown significantly over the past few days, as well as an incoming front will likely be accompanied by a shift in wind direction that will push the smoke into the Swan Valley.

Air quality is currently good to moderate in Missoula and Frenchtown and is expected to remain so for the immediate future. Click here to view the latest air quality information. You can also call the air quality hotline at (406) 258.3600 for the most current update.

Air quality in Ravalli County, at the Hamilton air monitoring station, is considered to be Unhealthy as of Tuesday morning.
