MISSOULA - A Missoula County Detention Facility officer is suspended after he was allegedly caught videotaping women in a Splash Montana dressing room.

Missoula Police Department officials say on Saturday afternoon, the women were in a family dressing room when the suspect hung a camera over the top of a stall and started videotaping them.

Police say after the women saw him, he took off and was stopped by the husband of one of the alleged victims.

Officers seized several items relating to the incident and took them into evidence.

The Missoula County Sheriff's Office says the suspect is Michael Gauci who works as a detention officer at the Missoula County Detention Center. He has been suspended pending a review of the incident by the sheriff.

Gauci has been with the sheriff's office for nearly two years.
