A 45-year-old firm is getting a new place to do business - something the company's president said could be an indication the Missoula economy is recovering.
WGM Group is known for its community work in land use planning, engineering and surveying. Next week the firm and about 30 employees will move into the old McKay's restaurant building on East Broadway, after outgrowing their current location on Palmer.
WGM Group president Brent Campbell said the move is a leap of faith in good things to come for Missoula businesses.
"Our outlook for our business is very good. Business is doing well, so now's the opportunity when it presents itself," Campbell said. "It's really an indication of our faith and outlook - positive outlook - for the future of Missoula."
The firm will move on Jan. 18 and Campbell said, once the they're settled, there will be for room to expand the firm's services. They are looking to hire more employees this spring.
