MISSOULA - The folks at the Missoula Food Bank say that if you have extra produce from your garden, they'd be glad to take some off of your hands.
Food security coordinator James Dodge says this time of year people bring by their extra produce everyday, and sometimes even more than once a day.
He added they'll take any produce that you have to offer, just don't wash it first so that it lasts longer.
"Basically we will take that and weight it and give you a receipt, if you'd like that, and then we'll take that food and put it out for our clients to have access to. And it's really a win-win for everybody," Dodge explained.
The Missoula Food Bank is also happy to take in any extra fruit you might have growing at home.
