MISSOULA - Business owners had the chance to learn about the new health care reform bill that has many of them wondering, "how much is this going to cost me?" on Friday.
Blue Cross-Blue Shield concluded its final of four Montana educational sessions in Missoula at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Small business owners from around the area attended the conference in an effort to better understand recent health care laws and to plan for upcoming legal requirements from the bill.
Blue Cross-Blue Shield brought in several speakers to help try and explain the immediate and long-term impacts on Montana businesses and their employees.
Although this is a national bill, speakers also addressed the local implications that the new health care reform will have in Montana.
"Businesses need to know that they can still stay alive, that the health care economy will still survive all this and they also need to know what changes are going to impact them," explained Andy Haynes, Haynes Benefits Law Firm President.
Speakers at Friday's conference say they hope that the event will eliminate concerns that small business owners are having about the new health care bill.
