MISSOULA - A man who is accused of driving drunk over a Missoula footbridge and then hitting a pedestrian, once again, asked the judge to give him more time in his case.
A Missoula District judge rejected Paul Amyotte's plea agreement in December, because he wanted him to serve prison time for last February's incident.
Prosecutors say Amyotte's crime scene was a mile long: beginning in the Burger King Parking lot on East Broadway, crossing through the barriers of the Van Buren Footbridge and onto the Kim Williams Trail where he allegedly hit a 21-year-old man.
They say from there, Amyotte allegedly drove over two traffic circles in the University area and then crashed.
Amyotte's sentencing is set for the end of this month.
