MISSOULA- A Missoula man will be spending the next 30 months in federal prison after being sentenced on child pornography charges.

Giovanni Delaware Blood was sentenced last week by U.S. District Judge Donald W. Molloy after earlier pleading guilty to possession of child pornography.

Prosecutors say that U.S. Department of Homeland Security agents determined an IP address in Missoula had files containing child pornography available for download during a 2009 investigation.

Blood admitted to authorities that he had received child pornography a laptop and also told agents specific search terms he utilized to locate the child pornography files via LimeWire.

A forensic examiner located images of child pornography on the laptop. Another laptop and two external hard drives were also analyzed, and images of child pornography were located.

The forensic examiner determined images were received between December 27, 2007, and October 20, 2008.
