MISSOULA- The Missoula Maulers lost out in the America West Hockey League finals but still celebrated their franchise best record of 41-6-1 at a team banquet on Tuesday night.
Coach Marcus Baxter announced goalie Mckinlee Baum is the team's Most Valuable Player. Baum was the winningest goalie in the league with an overall record of 27-11-5.
Corey Schaefer is the Offensive Player of the Year while Will Stawinski took defensive honors. Anders Nord is the winner of the seventh man award and Al Maul was picked for the Pack award.
