MISSOULA - Missoula police are looking for the three children reported missing by the Department of Child and Family Services.
Authorities believe the parents may have Kayreen Burland, 6, her two siblings Kenyon, 5, and Cherish, 2.
The mother, Athena Oldhorn, was allowed temporary custody of the children as a part of the reunification process that's being supervised by the state.
Police say the children were last seen on September 17th at the Good Food Store in Missoula.
The Montana Department of Justice has issued a Missing/Endangered Persons Alert where authorities say Oldhorn, 26, might be traveling with Lawrence "Larry" Jakub in a Silver Astro Van with a MT license plate of 430546A
The alert further states that all three children are reported to have developmental speech delays and it's believed that they are staying in the Wye area in Missoula, but may be headed to Spokane or Disney Land in California.
Jakub, 33, is a white male who's 5'8" tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. Oldhorn is a Native American who is 5'3" tall and weighs 190 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes and has a noticeable cavity between her two front teeth.
