Missoula police looking for burglary suspect

MISSOULA- The Missoula Police Department is looking for help finding who's responsible for a weekend theft on the 2000 block of South 10th Street.

Authorities say that someone used a cinder block to break a couple of windows of a home on Aug. 19 or Aug. 20, went inside, and then took three nailing guns, a chainsaw and a transit level.

The following items are missing:

  • Bostich roofing air gun/nailer. Item is orange and black in color and has a possible model number of N95RHN.
  • Bostich air gun/nailer (finishing nails). Orange and black in color and also has a possible model number of N95RHN.
  • Bostich framing hammer/air gun. Item is orange and black and is the same model number as above. (N95RHN).
  • Stihl chain saw with 32 inch bar and 3/8 skip tooth chain. Rakers are filed very low.
  • Porter Cable transit level.

Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to contact Crimestoppers at 406-721-4444. Callers who provide leads to an arrest and conviction may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000, and may remain anonymous.
