KALISPELL- A Missoula man was arrested in Kalispell Sunday after he failed to return to a pre-release center and fled to Flathead County.
Angelo Gowdy is being charged with a parole violation and an extra-jurisdictional warrant out of Powell County.
Gowdy went looking for a job on Thursday and was supposed to return to the pre-release center but never showed up. He took off to Kalispell where he was found and taken into the Flathead County Jail on Sunday.
In Missoula, Gowdy was serving a 10 year with 7 years suspended sentence for Burglary, Theft and Bail Jumping and was still serving a portion of his sentence at the pre-release center at the time of his escape.
Gowdy is expected to be transported back to Missoula County soon to face charges for the escape and is being held without bail.
