MISSOULA - Some Griz fans will be sporting a different color during Saturday's football game with St. Patrick Hospital staffers getting ready for their "Team Up Montana" Event.

The goal of this ongoing effort is to raise awareness and funding for cancer patients in Montana through prevention, education, and treatment.

Staff are encouraging all Griz fans to show their support for the cause by wearing pink to the game.

"This year, we're trying to do something that's a little bit more eye-catching and a little bit more impactful for the women involved and to really make a visual impact for the fans that are there," commented St. Patrick Hospital Marketing and Public Relations Director Lara Sahdwick.

All of the donations will go to the Cancer Compassion Fund, which helps cancer patients at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula and St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson.
