MISSOULA - This time one year ago the talk was about the raise for Missoula County Public School's Superintendent Dr. Alex Apostle - this year the talk was about performance.
There there wasn't a controversy over salary this year, because the contract for Dr. Alex Apostle runs through 2016. And due to the district's policy to keep all employee evaluations confidential, neither board members nor Apostle could share much with us about their Thursday meeting behind closed doors.
"We're dealing with a different board, so that means different opinions different personalities and different points of view - and that will be reflected in the evaluation," explained MCPS Board chairman Joe Knapp.
"I was very pleased with the conversation and process," Dr. Alex Apostle told us.
The floor was opened up for public comment prior to the start of the evaluation, but no one made a statement.
