MISSOULA- Some students headed back to class on Tuesday morning as summer quickly winds down in Western Montana.

Another sure sign of the change is seasons is that Splash Montana has closed down for the season, although The Lake 50-meter pool will remain open for limited lap swim hours through September 3rd.

The popular water park also opened later than scheduled due to cold weather for a second straight season, but when it did get up and running, thousands of people took advantage of all the fun water features.
