MISSOULA- A 19-year-old man got more than he bargained for after allegedly stealing some Redbull and other items from a grocery store Sunday morning.

Missoula Police Sergeant Jerry Odlin said the Oregon man fled on a bicycle from Rosauers and headed to the railroad tracks near the Southgate Mall.

Odlin pursued the suspect who then fell off his bicycle and continued running away. He said after the man refused to stop he tackled him to the ground.

Joshua Edward Franke is facing several charges including Obstructing a Peace Officer and Theft.

Odlin said Franke also has previous charges as well as a nationwide extradition warrant out of Oregon for parole violation.
