Missoula police are looking into a stabbing that happened Tuesday between 8:00 and 8:30 p.m. at 2200 Great Northern Avenue.
The victim confronted a man who was trying to get into his apartment when he was stabbed on the side of his body.
Police say the victim went to the hospital with a single, non-life threatening stab wound.
The suspect was described as a white, adult male. He is heavy set and about 6 feet tall. He had dark hair and was wearing a black sweatshirt. The suspect was last seen running towards Mullan Road.
