MISSOULA - Have you ever experienced a moment so profound, you want to scream it from the mountain top? Well, how about in an Airstream and for the entire world to see!
Mutual of Omaha is about to complete their third year of the "Aha Moment Tour" and anyone who has had a light bulb moment can come and share their story with a chance of making it into a national commercial.
An Airstream serves as a mobile studio and travels around the country documenting people's clarifying moments. Missoula is the 24th stop and next week the "Aha Moment Tour" will make their final stop in Salt Lake City.
Mutual of Omaha's Aha Moment Tour Manager Jessica Henry says many of the responses have been tainted by the economy, but she is hearing an optimistic side.
"But what's really unique is we're hearing stories about people turning around that situation and their aha moment was when they lost their job and then realized, you know, now is the time to start pursuing that other career, I've always wanted to start."
Bill Stoianoff, also known as "Uncle Bill" was Missoula's first testimonial on Wednesday. He says he was reading the ingredients list on a package of chorizo and decided he could make quality sausages without cutting corners.
Stoianoff created Uncle Bill's sausages in 1987 and he says aha moments are spontaneous and come in groups, " I think they come in six packs, like a good beer. You just get them. They just happen. You don't plan them, they just happen and so you go aha. I got it, I got it. I got it."
The "Aha Moment Tour" is in Missoula on Thursday from 11 to 7 next to the carousel for Missoula in Caras Park. Click here to learn more about the tour.
