MISSOULA - Divers have recovered a gun a 20-year-old suspect allegedly dropped into a ditch while running from police Sunday afternoon. Missoula Police, the fire department and search and rescue personnel all combed an area behind a motel on West Broadway Monday morning and just before 11:30 a.m., where they found the weapon.

TROY - A Troy man died in a Sunday evening crash on Montana Highway 56 south of Troy. Montana Highway Patrol Sgt. Duane Bowers says Billy Don Norman, 29, died after he crossed the centerline at about 8:10 p.m., and went into the ditch and then rolled over several times.

MISSOULA - The Missoula Police Department is looking for a man who allegedly assaulted and robbed a woman early Sunday morning. The victim told police the man came out of nowhere, knocked her to the ground, hit her and then took off with her purse and cell phone.

I'm not expecting much in the way of accumulation in the valleys, however, the mountains, including passes could see several inches of fresh snow.
