Montana gas prices falling for the holidays

BOZEMAN - Folks driving this holiday season are finding a bit of a gift for the wallet and gas tank, as the price at the pump is continuing to drop.

Gasbuddy.com says the lowest price for regular gasoline in Montana is $3.00 a gallon in Missoula.

Meanwhile, in Butte and Dillon, the lowest reported price is $3.03, while in Bozeman the lowest reported price is $3.06.

Automotive group AAA says the national average right now is $3.24 a gallon for regular.

The highest reported price in Montana right now is $3.65 a gallon for regular gas in Plentywood.

Eastern Montana tops the high price list with the top price at the pump found in Sydney, Glasgow and Glendive in addition to Plentywood.
