KALISPELL- A pair of University of Montana professors stopped by Flathead Valley Community College on Monday to share the story of why Montana is so special.

Their 'This is Montana' presentation showcased Montana's beauty and why resident's ties to the land run deeply.

Some of those in attendance said they moved to the Treasure State, simply because they love the area.

"I like the outdoors and this is a great area. It's growing, which is good but the draw of Glacier [National] Park, and the places to hike and fish. It's just really special," said Kalispell resident Wayne Herman.

Herman was born in Spokane, but has lived here in Kalispell for 45 years and raised three kids in the Flathead.
