MISSOULA- A few tough guys took a couple more rides for some cash as the Pro Bull Riders Tour finished off a two-night run at the Western Montana Fair, but our athlete of the week has already earned a state title, and now he'll compete at the national level.

Brady Clawson, 13, set a record at the Montana State Trapshoot in Helena last month by winning the Sub Juniors Singles title, hitting 198 of 200 targets.

"Singles was over two days. So we shot 100, and then kept with all the doubles and stuff. And then we went back to the other 100 the next day. And basically just kind of forgot about the other one and shot my best on the next. I've shot since I was five. But I've shot competition, I started three years ago. The first year I got lots of trophies. I was like, whoa. This is fun. If you try to hard you'll miss. And if you don't try hard enough you'll miss. So you just got to be in the middle I guess," Clawson explained.

Clawson's state title gives him a ticket to Sparta Illinois where he will start competing in the Champion of Champions event at the Grand American Trapshoot this Saturday.
