DARBY- A Darby couple caught six mountain lions on camera eating an elk on their property.

Ben and Betty Ricciardi tell us that they set up a night camera after they found a dead elk in their pasture up West Fork Road on October 11th.

They set up the camera to see how the elk died and what was feeding on the animals. Once it started snapping pictures, they found out that mountain lions had been feeding on the elk.

The couple say if you look closely at the picture above, you can see six mountain lions.

We were told my a land owner earlier this week that mountain lions killed a couple of his llamas in Stevensville.
