MISSOULA- Campaign 2012 is making a stop in Missoula on Thursday as the Republican candidates for Lieutenant Governor of Montana will be debating at the University of Montana.
The Montana Young Republicans (YRs) will host Republicans from Missoula and surrounding communities in Western Montana and in conjunction with the College Republicans, the YRs will welcome candidates from six of the seven campaigns for the GOP nomination.
The candidates for Lieutenant Governor range in experience from the U.S. Navy Seals and a medical doctor, to sitting and former Montana State Senators, a former State Representative and a current Public Service Commissioner. Each of these candidates will bring a different perspective on the issues that matter to young Montana voters.
The candidates will be available for a meet and greet prior to the debate from 6:30 p.m. to 6:50 p.m. in the University Center Theater.
Our own Phil Buck will be one of the debate moderators. Questions may also be submitted via Twitter using #MTYRdebate, and on Facebook. The debate will also be streamed live.
