GLENDIVE - Jury selection got began on Monday morning in Dawson County District Court in the murder trial of Walter Larson.
The former Billings man is accused in the 2008 killing his ex-wife Susan Casey and then dumping her body into the Yellowstone River near Glendive.
Larson, 41, is accused of strangling Casey to death outside her Glendive apartment and then throwing her body into the river.
Court documents in the case reference a love triangle between Larson, Casey and another man she was seeing.
Larson was arrested in Phoenix, Arizona in February of 2012 and charged with deliberate homicide and tampering with evidence.
Opening statements in the case will be presented Tuesday once court convenes at 8:30 a.m., with District Judge Richard Simonton presiding over the trial.
