MISSOULA - A new fitness club, using the "sweet science" of boxing, is opening its doors soon.

Title Boxing Club, on West Kent next to Tremper's Shopping Center, held an open house and media day Saturday morning.

The club structures workouts around a "power hour": 15 minutes of warm-up, half an hour of bag work, ending with 15 minutes of core workouts and a cool-down period.

Owner Chris Bergman is excited about his new staff and the social element of the club.

"It's boxing techniques put into a fun workout with good music, have a good time, and it's very important to meet the person next to you on the bag, get to know them, so that you're not standing on a treadmill staring at a TV and you don't really get that interaction and all that."

KPAX's own Jill Valley, Tiffany Murphy and weather anchor Courtney Polish came to give it a try, too.

The grand opening for Title Boxing Club is this Wed., Jan. 23 and your first try is free.
