KALISPELL - The Kalispell City Council has approved the appointment of Lori Adams to the position of municipal court judge.

Adams, a longtime Flathead County Deputy Attorney was the only person to apply for the slot being vacated by judge Heidi Ulbricht.

Adams will be sworn in at the next regular city council meeting on December 17th. She will officially begin her new duties on January 1st.
