MISSOULA- This weekend marks the grand opening of a new paint ball field in Missoula.

City Life Community Center constructed an outdoor course directly beside Bob Ward's near the Southgate Mall and the new outdoor arena is three times larger than City Life's indoor course.

Players are allowed to use real paint balls at the new venue instead of reusable rubber balls and City Life Director Bob Grace says the outdoor field is somewhere kids can go to have fun throughout the summer.

"I feel like this is just another opportunity for kids to have something positive, something constructive, to burn some energy without vandalizing or whatever," Grace said.

"So City Life is about teens and we really want to help teens and we have adults over here as well and younger kids but you know, we really hope that this is a place where teens can come and burn some energy and have a good time," he added/

The outdoor field will be open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. during the summer months.
